Fall Fashion Over 50!

I love fall colors! It makes me wonder why my house isn’t in shades of rusts, browns, and mustard golds. Years ago during the shabby chic days, it was. I may have to revisit those colors in my home, but for now, I’ll just wear them! I’m joining my friends for a little fall fashion. And just like in my home, it’s super casual, mixing in vintage with a little new and always with denim.

Madewell & Garnet Hill

I love a fun jacket in the fall. I’m wearing it with a favorite Mock-Neck Tunic from Garnet Hill, but it will be perfect to layer a sweater under or a turtleneck when it gets a little cooler. I’m wearing jeans by Rag & Bone from a few years ago and my oxfords are probably 10 years old.

Gap Denim Icon Jacket

I never used to wear denim on denim. Is that what we call it? I’ve changed my mind on it when the colors of denim work together. I’m wearing a favorite muscle tank from Gap that is the perfect layering piece. I love the crew neck and since it’s sleeveless, it fits comfortably under everything. My jean jacket is from Gap and it’s the Icon Denim Jacket in tall, it also comes in regular and petite. I’m wearing it with a vintage cashmere Burberry scarf that I bring out every fall. (Unless I forget and that happens, especially when we move).

Everlane Chore Jacket

I love a chore jacket, especially in the fall. It’s the perfect lightweight jacket. This one from Everlane is made so well and the cotton canvas is soft and comfotrtable. It’s the first jacket I reach for on a chilly morning drinking coffee on the porch or just for running into town. I’ve washed it several times and it still looks like new!
